EHI publishes 5-year Impact Report

A Message from our Founder & Executive Chair, Marc Boughton
We hope that you enjoy reading about our first five years of Impact.
East Head Impact is an independent charitable foundation using multi-year funding, data, and partnerships to support organisations delivering measurable impact. We fund largely proven solutions that improve lives and protect the environment for the long term - because sound health, access to a good education and sustainable employment on a thriving planet is vital to everyone.
Our portfolio charities are chosen following in-depth due diligence by our Philanthropy Team and approval by our Board of Trustees. We believe passionately in the causes they address - spanning mental health, injuries affecting young people, education and employment opportunities for disadvantaged young people and climate change.
We are proud to work with an exceptional group of people, and we take great pleasure in building partnerships that go beyond funding. We have already celebrated some wonderful recognition for our charities: Generation UK was rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, Spear was named ‘ERSA Youth Employment Provider of the Year’ and our Solent Seascape Project was officially endorsed under the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
Last year, we introduced our Family Grant Programme, to sit alongside our Core Grant Programme, awarding grants across 15 charities. This light-touch programme has been a huge success, deepening the family’s connection to our work and introducing our Team to some fabulous new organisations.
Our endowment-backed model allows us to support solutions that take time but deliver lasting change. By aligning funding directly with outcomes and United Nations Sustainability Development goals, we ensure every grant contributes to a healthier, more equitable and more sustainable future.
We thank all our partners for their ongoing dedication to tackling issues that affect so many and look forward to continuing this work together in the years ahead.
