  GRANTS IN HEALTH - 2021-22

The Old Coulsdon Centre,
West Sussex

TOC_edited.png

The Centre was purpose built and founded by Coulsdon residents in 1984 for the benefit of retired people.

As an independant charity, the centre provides a valuable gathering place for elderly people, with meals, drop in tea/coffee and snacks, organised activities, entertainment and trips, as well as escorted transport for those with limited mobility.

EHI's grant helped to support valuable activities at the centre which relies solely on donations and volunteers.

H.M. Pasties Foundation
(HMPF)

HMPF seeks to help ex-offenders recently released from prison enter sustained employment through the provision of personal coaching, counselling, skills development and work experience.

Employment has been shown to dramatically reduce the likelihood of reoffending, and by providing training, support, and a real chance at employment, HMPF help ex-offenders gain the skills and confidence they need to turn their lives around.

EHI provided seed funding to help H.M.Pasties Foundation establish its charitable business.
